windows 7 key

I put win7 on a new pc and the retail box did not have a product key?? Not on box or paperwork

FOUND IT... MAN THOSE NUMBERS ARE PRINTED SMALL!!!!

You're telling me! The first thing I had to use a magnifying glass due to aging eyes was that I couldn't tell the difference between B and 8 in those stickers!  :furious

The ones that are hand written on the dvd are easyer to read  :devil

My DVD's have no written codes on them. Neither the hologram ones nor the self-burned. I have to manage with the code on the sticker. Besides I've had misreading problems with even my own handwriting. Sometimes my customers haven't been able to read their own writings, all capital letters and numbers. Is it a G or 6, a Y or 4... Guess I'd better take all codes to the pharmacy to be read.  :t

Oh man, I'm glad I'm not the only one that wrote down his windows XP CD key and then couldn't read it when I needed it. Luckily I haven't needed to do that with Win 7 as I still have the box.  :x

I usually scan the sticker or take a photo of it and store it in a safe place.
