XP to Windows 7
« on: January 20, 2014, 08:54:21 AM »
I just got a new computer today with Windows 7. I backed up all of my files and settings, as well as the AH.exe file to a flash drive. I was running Windows XP and my question is, can I restore everything from the flash drive and run AH as normal, or do i need to upload the game again from the website?

Some of the files in the "settings" folder should not be copied from the old system.

video8.cfg
world.cfg
winsize.cfg
freq.cfg
sysinfo.cfg

should not be copied.

It is up to you.  I would just copy the original "settings" folder contents to a new folder and merge what you need.
