I wanted to get this out now ... I have an 8 hour surgery this Friday at 6am

This should end my 3 year dilemma with my right foot and ankle

This surgery will be the 6th and final ...

I have not flown in over 5 months now

Thank You Pipz ... Surgery was almost doubled in surgery time ... Now have a fixator from bottom of foot to mid calf and will be on no less than 5.5 months from February 7th surgery ... It is like wearing a milk crate over your foot ... hangs on everything and some things you never even knew could get it caught on .... LOL

I hope you dont mind constructive criticism. The sound of the engines starting up is fantastic. But then the sound of the engines running in flight is way to bland and quiet. I had to delete the sound pack for it. I hope you can adjust it cause it has great promise. Like i said the initial start up sound is awesome.

I have been taking it easy with the leg, but things are back on the upswing now

I took the Shvetsov ASh-82 Engine and enhanced it ... I believe I know what you are looking for Rich

This version gives you the feel of those big cylinder radials pumping out horsepower!

If you deleted the entire TU2S folder just download that folder again and place the New engine above into the TU2S folder

Thanks Olds ... I am going to look at that right now!

This is so small I do not hear it, but I see an open space at end of clip (I use speakers no head phones)

Ok ... I removed a .6s open frame at loop point

That fixed it some, however there is still some drop off from the ending sample to the starting sample.

Here is what I mean

This is the very start of the engine loop (notice the waveforms place):


And this is the very end of the engine loop (notice the big difference in the waveform)


The start and end should both in the same place or at least on the 0 line on the waveform viewer for only about 0.0010 or less, this makes a clean loop with out the clicking.

I clipped the file at 01.790 and matched wave as best I can with my editing program

The energy levels need to match, and both ends of the waveform need to be at the zero crossing. An engine is one example of a sound that cannot simply have silence inserted to create a loop.
