Computer help

 I am very uninformed and out of date on computers, but I want to get one for where I work which is 800 miles from home and I am gone for two weeks at a time.  I don't need anything top notch or amazing I just need something to get on the Internet and also play Aces High.  Do these look like a good options?

The desktop at amazon has a very weak video card. The laptop at bestbuy has an Intel video chipset which doesn't work well with AH. The latter will cause icons flickering colours or showing as grey boxes.

Look at the recent posts on this forum for what to look for. A desktop would give you better bang for the buck if you can take one along. Building one yourself into a small case might be a viable solution.

He got the cheapest one.

The thing he liked best was the help system. He has a few kids at home and his computer get screwed up ...... often. So being able to make a call to get help worked for him. Like I said, we put aces high on it and run most of the eye candy with out an issue.
