I don't agree with what you posted. I think a surface scan of my reply is doing yourself a shortage, if indeed you really are interested in elucidation about ACM. If it is as Debrody says and you are just trying to be annoying then I'll be happy to let it go.

18 minutes of rolling scissors just tells me you were both out of moves/options (and had too much fuel).  :D

I cannot remember well, but it has been 2 years since the last time i was dueling in g6s. 18 mins + the takeoff is about the time when a a half tank of fuel drains on wep in the 109g, so not sure if any of us have even lost or we just ran out of fuel while tailwhipping left n right
 :aok

Because there isn't another option once the kind of 'rolling scissor' they are talking about becomes established, it's instadeath™© to try and break out of it. And it is highly likely to develop as the fight proceeds with two sticks at their level.

The fact they sustained it for 18 minutes is an indication of how closely matched they were on that day and bear in mind that they take turns narrowly escaping death once each per iteration. Debrody gets an awful lot of negative attention on this forum but whatever else you say about him he is / was a very skilled proponent of ACM. And Redbull, well have you ever dueled him? I'd recommend asking him politely once just for the experience.

Apparently one doesn't need to like or respect someone to agree (even accidentally). Nor does one need to hate or disrespect one to disagree (is this or is this not your position)? But lying to one's self (by gravitating toward reading into someone else's post something you wanted to see in order to justify your feelings about them) in public seems counterproductive toward the latter, mate. Savvy?  :D

I'll give you another pass on your misconception.

I think your surface misunderstanding of my not agreeing with you comes from a deep misunderstanding you have about ACM.

If that's what you have to tell yourself to keep those emotions where they are.  Yeah, we were 180' off and you were impressive.  :aok

(Try reading just the lines and leave your take on what's between them to yourself as that may serve you better, mate.)  ;)

How does your failure to understand the subtlety of our disagreement equate to my lying to myself. I see we got here:

ego-filled argument full of logical fallacy and personal insult

Very quickly. I responded to this with a sincere explanation of an advanced form of ACM of which you are apparently unable to grasp and are ignorant of:-

Don't be afraid. I can stand elucidation if you can stand delivering it.

So you didn't want elucidation at all, this was just a standard trap to bicker on the forum.

I also see Arlo's comprehension of the word mate is as deficient as his understanding of ACM.

Trap? No trap. I figured by 'elucidation' you would actually focus on where I got it wrong .... not what you thought I was feeling. I'm not bickering with you (but you may be feeling otherwise).  ;)

Now, at this point, don't get too literal .... mate.  :D

Can't you Google a picture of a rolling scissors and figure all this out, Arlo?

Yeah at this point I'm likely to devote energy explaining knowledge I've spent years accumulating to someone who has already called me a liar once and is telling me and everyone else what I'm thinking and feeling at every point. You had your chance but you'd rather get your jollies bickering instead being civil to learn something about ACM in an air combat simulation. Stay ignorant, I like you that way.

Who's the fan of the solution-less forum scissor now, you strange little man.

Oh. You think what I posted reflects a lack of understanding about the rolling scissors maneuver. Too bad. I know this seemed opportunistic and all. You might have taken the opportunity to be the third person to prove me wrong by rephrasing what I wrote.  :D
