Crosby crying as usual  :headscratch:

Like McEnroe crying or like, he's good and on a different team so you need to ridicule their best player crying?

I'm biased of course but I've always thought Sidney has handled the spotlight well. After all Mario showed him how to grow up...

Enjoy your win, Lundquivst is a great goalie.

Bruins are settling down. Should do better from here on out. Tough to play against a good team AND the Refs.

Here's my prediction: 2 of these will play for the cup: Chicago/Los Angeles & Boston/Pittsburgh.

I'm rooting for the Habs and Rangers as well as Chicago and Anaheim.

I'm thrilled because several of the original 6 are in the tournament.

Whatever happens, it'll be exciting.  I was watching the clock count down in the Ducks/Kings game . . . then a score with 7 seconds left.  My!

10 mins to face off Hawks vs the hated Wild.

Im still thanking God it isnt the Ave's were facing but the Wild must not be underestimated.

Your talking about a team from a place where all they do is ice fish, play hockey, and say "ya eh" all the time. Any Hockey team from such a place is dangerous.

Hawks Win!. Were up 2 game to 0 but i sure hope we dont let down heading up to MN. for 3 and 4.

Ive told people all year the Wild are a dangerous team, much better then their record and their record was pretty dang good. To bad I had to go to bed early I'd have love to see the Pens come back and take one from NY. Kings/Ducks tonight. Cant stay up for that either.

Great playoff year in the NHL.

Please opine away hockey fans.  What chance have the Ducks and Rangers defeating their opponents?  I ask because I determined only this year to begin following hockey.  Would like to hear from those who know more.

Last year the Pens were tops in the east are were slated by all to take the east with ease and go against Chicago for the cup. Boston blew them out in 4 strait.

Anything can happen in the playoffs. Just one guy saying the right thing in the locker room can fire up a team that will then just totally out play the other team. There are very few "poor" teams in the league. With the salary cap you even get the teams a bit more even on the "talent" side of things. That is one area the Pens have an issue. Their goaly is ok, as is their defense, but their offense is top notch. They rely on the offense to score more goals than their defense and goaly give up. New York on the other hand has one of the top 5 goalies in the league and a strong defense, it's their offense that is a bit weak. That series should be close.

I don't watch the west that closely, but the Ducks did finish higher than the Kings.

The point is that it's a whole new ball game when you get into the play offs. One silly little bounce can win.....or lose you a game. The good news is ya need 4 to win a series, and 16 to win the cup. Stanley Cup Hockey is the best hockey in the world!

Sometimes, an author gets it just right  :(  The 2nd sentence could not be better.

As Fugi alluded to its all about match ups. Perhaps more so then in any sport.

You cant really match the Hawks cause they have no weaknesses. I suppose you could call their weak power play offense a weakness but they have so much offensive strength it doesnt seem to matter much. During the regular season they also had an annoying habit of losing shoot outs. But they are just so stacked its hard to see any team beating them.

Should they win again it will be remarkable because the Cup has become the hardest trophy to win twice in a row in all sports. And every team they will have to play, including the Wild, is capable of beating them. There can be no let downs against any of them.

As a Penguins fan, I don't think it's right the Rangers played the 5th game in 7 days. I'd like them to be rested as we put the hammer down  :devil

Oh yes, anything can happen, Boston's 4-0 on us last year was dominating, not one of those games did the "better (on paper)" team look like they belonged there, also iirc we barely got by the Islanders too.

As Redskin fans chant we want Dallas, Pens fans now must chant we want Boston. But the Habs will do too.
