This is nothing, I get a Japanese game show channel on TV (not sure how or why) but its by far the most hilarious stuff I've ever seen.
My favorite is a show that the contestants have to sing an American song in english - if they screw up the lyrics or song, they get some sort of punishment. Most of these Japanese know very little english or at least school levels.
The winner gets a few prizes but its hilarious watching them have to absorb the punishment, the wrecking ball is my favorite - for example a male would stand on a platform, while this giant ball swings down and wacks him in the nuts while throwing him 15 feet on to a matress.
