killing field guns
« on: May 08, 2014, 01:51:41 PM »
I remember when a few bad apples forced HTC to make it impossible to "kill" in the TA
and I really couldn't blame them. However, when I go to kill a field gun I don't know when I've landed a good kill shot!!
Is it possible to re-enable the kill settings in TA as a conditional test? After all, if someone breaks the rules on
a set number of occasions then he/she (with film evidence) can be banned for a specific amount of time.
Just a thought  :pray

You can load the TA map for offline practice and set damage the same as the MA.

If I may elaborate on this:
Unless you have fiddled with damage settings before, it already has the same damage settings as the MA.
One additional thing you may want to do is go to arena setup, arena settings, general and select "Arena Flags" - uncheck "protect objects". That allows you to attack & destroy 'friendly' objects on your own field, saving you a lot of time when testing things.

To save even more time, set the "downtime multiplier" to something small, like 0.06, to have the destroyed objects regenate in seconds instead of minutes.
