One of the tornadoes was a few miles away from my girlfriends house just north of Lincoln.

I'm not sure if we had any damage or not, I'm at work and my roommate is out of town until the 23rd.

Scary stuff

Imagine 50 years ago when there were as many, if not more, tornados but no one with cell phones or fancy electronic gadgets to capture/record them.  :old:

We had 2 F1s hit my town( Elkhorn, NE ).  One a couple miles north and the other a couple miles south.

You couldn't see anything from our house.. too much low clouds and rain.. but the sound was awesome.  Not exactly rolling thunder, as I've heard one of those ( which is another experience in itself ).  I think it sounds like I would imagine a pre-invasion shore bombardment sounds like from about 20 miles away.  Constant concussions and flashes.

I video'd a couple minutes of the sound  before my wife found me and drug me back inside.  I'll try to get it up to youtube in a couple days.

We had the warning sirens sounding at @ 8 PM last night but no twister.  Lots of flooding but not much damage.

 :rofl

Guilty!  I started doing that as making fun of how we conjugate things inconstantly. I guess it became automatic.
