I survived a torp run!

As the title states, another pilot and I survived a torp run yesterday in kates, sinking the cruiser and damaging the CV for a group of squadies in SBDs. Both of us where able to RTB, I took a 40mil to the face, getting oiled but otherwise undamaged. First torp run I've survived  :D

Any decend 5"-er will blow you out of the sky beford you are even in torpedo range. I wished 5" couldnt hit you while you buzz the water to offer the torpedo bomber as an option rather than the suicide buff box. :old:

  I wish there was a way to see my torps after I get shot down.   :bhead Don't know if they are on target or not so a wait a few minutes and respawn.

This wish has more than a couple wishers. Even if only in the training area, hey! It just occurred to me, does the lead computing gunsight (green crosshairs,) work with torps?

Coalcat HOW did you survive? Were there multiple attackers to dilute the ack? I'm assuming the 5 inchers were unmanned or pointed in the wrong direction.

I was leading a separate Dive bombing sortie on the same CV group, but he had already made his run by the time we were in range of the boats guns, WTG coalcat :rock
