While it is commendable to aspire to be among the best, you'll have to fly a far more diverse range of airplanes. P-51, Dora and P-47M is very narrow skill set. The best in this game over the 13 years I've been flying and training others, could win in anything. Moreover, being among the best means winning when the odds are stacked against you. This is where dueling, especially dissimilar type dueling, helps to expand skills, knowledge base and builds the necessary experience base. I suggest flying what Alex flew... F6F. Flying the Hellcat means that you won't be able to extend away from the faster fighters. They will chase you down. So, before it becomes a race, you turn into them and show them why the F6F is much better than most would think... Add some variety, it'll make you a better virtual pilot. The path to the top tier usually goes through most of the plane set....

I prefer being like Skyyr.  Where whiners start threads due to the frustration of being unable to kill him (or me, as it were).

"You won't turn. You suck."  Blam.  "I am dead.  I turn.  You suck!"
My little dear,
you can turn and still be alive... True, i was dieing a LOT, and? I had fun every single time i had the luck to encounter anyone who was willing to turn with me.

One more note: if you fly off the map, the others will be damn frustrated because they wont be able to kill you. Neener, suckas, im invincible!  :rofl

Well, I'm not sure what piqued your interest to start a thread over my flying style, but seeing as you're either too disinterested or otherwise unable to fly for the current tour, I can't honestly say I'm concerned.

I'm here for one reason and one reason only - to send other planes down in flaming hunks and return to base with my wingmen. If I do that without the approval from others of my flight style, so be it - I never put much weight in the opinions of side-liners or defeated players to begin with. If you, or any other player or group of players, have a problem with it, there's the battlefield known as the Late War Main Arena. Feel free to bring your best.

To be perfectly clear: I, and we as a squadron, don't give a damn about established conceptions of honorable tactics, fair chances, or "flying for fun" - we're here to kill, and we will do it using the most pragmatic and effective means possible.

Lastly, I've been flying Doras since you were 8 years old (at least in other games). It's my ride, junior. ;)

That said, you seem to be a knowledgeable fellow and I always liked your posts.

-=S=- and I hope to see you on the battlefield.
I dont care how old are you.
The last tour i was flying:

Anyone can tell that i was not afraid of some skirmish on the deck, nor i know anyone whining about my playing style. Except TKO, but he reported me for hacking the flight model, rofl.

E-peen growing contest? I can take it dude. Be number one in the Dora while actually making her dance. Im afraid, it would be totally impossible to even get close. Not the score, but the more challenging part. Til then, this i run, i pick, yall suck mentality is just empty braggage.

Edit: i have the film of the greatestest 190 pilot ever being killed by a girl... so thats for the effectiveness uber alles...

I slaughtered the English language...

I'm sorry, I don't recall showing or displaying any interest in your prior stats. In fact, nothing in my reply even mentioned your stats or flight style, so posting them in reply is nothing more than an egregious self-indulgence. That said, I hadn't started flying, let alone joined the game, during Tour 165, so why should I care again? I've been flying for six months as of last week. In that six months, I've somehow managed to gain the attention of a four-year veteran player has-been, posting screenshots of his golden years from a game he no longer plays. Sad, really.

I never claimed to be the greatest 190 pilot, so where you keep pulling that from is beyond me. Now, I do know several others who have stated that (and I would disagree with them), and perhaps you're having withdrawals not having that attention for yourself (which would explain resorting to posting screenshots of seven-month-old game material). By all means, please show me where I ever, once, claimed to be the best - you won't find it.

Also, the only "E-peen contest" here (to quote you), ironically, is you, obvious from the fact you started this thread for no apparent reason. Apparently, I've insulted you, someone, or something dear to your heart (maybe even all in the same) - sad, but I don't care. Most adults don't wear their emotions on their sleeves.

Got something to prove? The battlefield is behind the login button (which you obviously haven't clicked in some time). Put up or shut up, because strictly speaking, you've been a literal non-factor for over six months now.

Well the jokes one my grammar are old. Considering its not my native language and learned most of it in AH in-game, guessing im doing quite fine.

Stats means nothing, but hey, it wasnt me talking about being the most effective muthafucka ever. I was playing the most ineffective way possible and still got decent results.

In your six months, got lotsa friends, aye? Everyone loves you and the way youre playing, aye? Look, you even have an own little puppy, hehe. Quite funny.

Yea you have been claiming to be the greatestest 190 pilot ever (its my own ride, i know it better than anyone, been flying it before your father was born, etc). Also you have claimed to be the best dogfighter ever, via PM. Want me to post them? I know its low but so is your false mightyness.

Just laughing on the mighty ultra-effective one. Funny how quiet you have became on 200 after being shot down by a girl.  :rofl

Eventually, if the game lasts long enough, there will be some sticks you can never kill, but they will kill you...often...    I intend to be one of them.  Smoke on that pipe a bit....

I've played abit and I don't know any sticks that fit your description.. Any given sunday.. No one is ever always the best.. Good luck to you..

One thing for certain though, if you can't fight from a disadvantage and win you're really not even close..

You posted this thread, claiming it was your ride, to which I replied afterwards, so it's literally impossible for comments made in this thread to be the reason you posted the thread. Further, I never stated that I knew it better than anyone. In fact, far from it, as I just started flying other 190 variants over the last few weeks.

And yes, we all die. The only female pilot I'm aware of is Peppr. I've died to her a very, very small handful of times, but it happens. Want me to list every time I've killed Peppr? That list would be so pathetically lopsided it'd almost be worth the effort. The irony here, of course, is that you're making it seem like a big accomplishment for her, thereby insulting her own abilities (unless of course you're insulting the skills of all women via sexually discriminating remarks, which I doubt that someone of your... culture and intelligence would insinuate).

And yes, if we're playing Super Smash Brothers, I'll play as Pikachu. Lightning bolt, biotches!

Unable to kill him?  lol Everyone dies in this game.. Only thing important is how you live while alive... oh wait.. nvm.. thats way too deep..

ROFL.....  Good Morning kappa, Sir!

Nice Post, Widewing....................  really miss our goofing around seeing what we could trick the other one into in the TA after a class was over back in them days/nights......

Good Morning Skyyr and Vraciu,

I just so happened to stumble across this thread while enjoying my 1st cup of coffee getting ready for my morning Bible study, and the following post stuck out at me like a 16 penny nail in a 2x4 board.......

If you bear with me, I am going to break it down in different parts.............. what I underline and make bold, I will address in Bold Green Text......

I, acting Damned Aces High CAG, or in other words: WE, The Damned,  DO GIVE A DAMN about long time established comradery, as well as earned through sweat, tears and years of hard work to be able to obtain these honorable conceptions of gratitude to be able to have the courtesy of receiving such honorable fights from our opponents

IT is all about "established conceptions" of honorable tactics, fair chances, and "flying for fun" -

Just like our motto says "Damned If We Do, No Fun If We Don't!"

I just wanted to stop that one little misconception........ most of you old timers already knew it anyways........since we have been here for nearly 26 or so years ........

The rest of you can get back to y'alls who is better in whatever plane contest now...........

Cheers

TC
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC
