Bomb damage

Does anyone happen to know the amount of damage done for each sized GP bomb?

Example, 1000lb bomb does 1000lbs damage, 250lb bomb does 313lbs dmage and so forth.

4000lb - 3125   (not longer in game)
2000lb - 1718
1000lb - 1000
500lb - 562
250lb - 313
100lb - 156

AP= +50% damage, -80% radius
SAP= +25% damage, -67% radius
HC/LC= -25% damage, +25% radius (4k cookie)

metric bombs (kg) work along the same lines)

Isn't the 4k bomb in the B-29 GP's?  I don't remember it stating them being HC/LC.

That's because the "LC" part of the bomb tag is hidden by the wing in the hangar. But you can check it in the pickup mission builder, loudout selection

Ah.  Could've sworn...   Went to check and if you move the camera around a little, you'll see that the #4 engine actually covers up the C.

First, why would you question the snail?

Second, the B-29 is so awesome that it leaves little room for anything else in the hangar.

Any reason why they do this? Why not just have the bombs do their listed damage?  

Smaller bombs are more efficient.  A lot of the blast from larger bombs gets wasted. The blast radius of a 1000lb bomb is not twice that of a 500lb bomb.

Or gameplay balance.

the 4K GP was removed when the new types were added. It's now replaced with the HC/LC versions
