We don't seek forgiveness from you.

I could rant at you about proof, logic, and what not, but instead I'll just ask that you keep your opinion to yourself.

Many disagree as strongly as you believe (or have their own book), and skuzzy says it's a nono.

And you were the first to chime in with, "Or you hope so."
I guess your opinion, which you shared, is more valuable. I at no time addressed you or the mouse in your pocket, (you used we).

In no way do I care how you think. Regardless of your logic or higher education nothing you could say would sway me. But I would not nor will I ever tell another person what they should feel or how they believe but i wont be told how I should think either.

On a lighter note. I know skuzzy has rules and no I didn't read them, I have now and will abide after this one. Way to go on calling me on it and addressing it. Brownie points for the Crazyor! You get to sit in the special chair during arts and crafts today.

it's rule 14--although i feel as craz07 does---but nothing i can do about it--i don't let it bother me-i try not to think about it...and i hope it doesen't happen to me, my family,or anybody i know.

and it's not gonna stop me from watching television-or getting on the internet.

People keep saying this for thousands of years.  ;)

And will continue to do so...   ;)

I was poking fun at Craz07. I've flown with him and have great respect for him, but in knowing him, I'm also going to razz him.

You on the other had essentially called TV the work of demons. Put it like this, if there's free will, we're all free to "sin" as we please. If you think you're saved, leave us to our debauchery without judgment; it's not your place.

I've met your kind before, I'm well aware that you can't be brought around. And I didn't tell you how to think, I asked you to spare us and Skuzzy your opinion. Especially given that it's Monday, and by all accounts Skuzzy doesn't like the mice playing while the cats at home for the weekend.

Whatever salvs your pride.

Yes the original poster had question. I had answers that were really just my opinion. You were quick at pointing a finger that I am a Christian yet I pointed a finger at myself by saying that I'm not the Christian that I should be.  And I believe beyond the shadow of a doubt that television is one of the main things poisoning the minds of our society.

I'm not a leisure suit wearing, slick back hair buffet style you may have be portrayed as. I have tattoos, big gnarly beard, shaved head. My boots are always muddy and ive been known to get into some trouble. I believe in and am a huge supporter of cannabis and its legalization.

I said earlier that at one point in my life I shook hands with the devil and I have. My whole life changed about 7 years ago when I became a father. At that point I decided that my entire life was to revolve around her. I changed the person that I was and left him sitting cold. I don't miss that guy at all.

You said you've met people like be before and that we couldn't be swayed. Ive met people like you and have swayed them but I assure you that you have never met anyone like me.

Post Script:

About television and society:

Ive guided duck hunts over half of my life. Up until two years ago business was steady but suddenly there was a huge spike. My phone was ringing non stop with folks wanting to hunt and leases sky rocketed from an influx of would be duck hunters. Duck Dynasty had hit the televisions and it was rated number one. Personally I hate the show yet Phil Robertson is and always will be my hero. But opinions don't matter.

I said that to say this. None of those people who spiked the numbers of duck hunting would have ever given it second thought had it not been for the show. Thats television for ya. Is there anything wrong with people seeing that show and wanting to duck hunt, probably not. Its simply an example of how people are influenced by television.

Sorry, but the 1950's sucked for television. That "wholesome family values" stuff isn't entertaining, which is what the TV is for, that and news.

I'll continue to watch Futurama, and South Park, and Cosmos without being any worse of a person for it.

Then you're exactly like INK, and my Uncle Tom.

So you were into some toejam, maybe did a stint in prison for drugs, or something minor like that. Perhaps struggled with alcohol, or just felt "lost" and bummed around for a bit. Then you saw what it was doing to your life and decided to straighten out and fly right. You became a decent human being for your daughter, so what?

No, I've definitely met your kind. Contrary to what you seem to think, you actually represent a sizable portion of Bible thumpers. And you can't sway me; I've seen the truth.
