AWMac
« on: June 22, 2014, 10:59:57 PM »
I posted the info on Facebook last night on my wall and was asked to share the following.

As most of you all know, Fred passed away in 2012.    He is interred in Arlington National Cemetery, along with his Father.    One day I hope to go to DC for the first time and will seek his site out, amongst another soldier whose MIA Bracelet I wore for a year and was mailed to his next of kin.

I just figured I would post this for some who might not have known he was interred at ANC, in case some might wish to visit him.

AWMac was one of those rare characters.  Hopefully I'll be able to stop by Arlington and say hello to my old friend next spring.

Fred was my first friend in this game.  We had lots of phone calls and bs sessions but sadly could never make arrangements to meet.  He was a great guy and had a sense of humor that mirrored mine.

RIP Fred and thank you for your friendship.   :salute

Thanks Jay, Mac and I go way back to the old AW days and he was a great guy and he and I did some crazy stuff together back in Aw and here in AH, we did it just for the heck of and to say that we had done it.  I hope someday to visit his grave site and pay my respects to a Man that I had a great amount of fun with and respected so much!

All the Best...

I miss Fred too.

Had a long history with him in game and in AW.

Always a laugh happening when he was around.

Me and the Mrs are planning a trip through some states in the next year. Will look him up in Arlington and pay respects.
