Aug 06 14   68Jr   Operation Jericho
The many examples of the Mosquito's ability to bomb a pinpoint target included such classic examples as Shell House, Copenhagen, Aarthus, Oslo, Egletons and dozens more. All were outstandingly successful and valuable operations: destroying Gestapo archives or similar unique objectives. Probably the most poignant was Operation Jericho, the now legendary attack on Amiens Prison on 18 February 1944. Its purpose was literally to save lives-nearly 700 French Resistance workers were incarcerated at Amiens, many of whom were to be executed the following day.
In this scenario, we simulate the attack on Amiens Prison on 18 February 1944. The allies must breach the defenses, without harming the prisoners and enable them to escape

Aug 13 14   Mojo   Raid to Norway
An act of sabotage which became famous and possibly had an effect on the outcome of the war, was the attack on the heavy water plant at Vemark, in Telemark county. Here, Norwegian soldiers, trained in the UK, were sent into action near the small town of Rjukan, where Norsk Hydro produced heavy water, a liquid chemical, which the Germans needed for the development of an atomic bomb. Although the Germans guarded the plant, the production facilities were destroyed. Heavy water which was en route to Germany was also destroyed, at the cost of many Norwegian civilian lives. Though no known Mosquito raid took place in WWII to destroy the storage of heavy water facilities this Snapshot is based on fictional information that the Canadian and Royal Air force may have acquired and acted on.

Aug 20 14   68Raptor   Thunder in The Aleutians
From the 12th of April to the 30th of April 1943, the United States forces in the Aleutian island chain attacked the Japanese that were occupying the islands of Kiska and Attu. P-40's, P-38's, B-25's and B-24's all participated in the attacks. The Japanese hastily defended the islands they had taken. In this snapshot, we will re-create an attack by the American forces on Japanese bases and ports on the island of Kiska.

Aug 27 14   68Jr   First of Many
On July 4th 1942 the first American bombing raid took place in occupied Europe, 12 Boston bombers in RAF colors, half of them manned by American Personnel, took off to attack a JG 1 field in the Netherlands. Two of the American manned Boston?s and one RAF failed to return. The sight of American Aircraft over their airfields would soon be a thing the German Luftwaffe would be accustomed too. At this time in the war the RAF was still struggling against the FW190. Only a few weeks later after the attack the Spitfire Mk IX would meet the Fw 190 in combat.

In real life the Boston's went in with out fighter escort. But to make the event playable we will be adding fighters.
