wifi repeater/extender needed
« on: August 05, 2014, 10:40:04 AM »
I need to get a wifi repeater/extender for my shop, whats the cheapest one that will do the job?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Most routers can play the role of an repeater.
Its good to have same brand as the one you already have, if you run into problems.
Other  factors : It should also support same transmission rates as the one you have too to get the most out of it.

My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

They use to make bridges just for that purpose.  You might try a search for bridges.  Like Cave posted staying with the same brand will setup much easier.

Look on Amazon they sell a very cheap WiFi antenna...I use one here it extends the wifi on my modem well enough to not drop off at all outside anymore and I think it was about $20
