EDIT: I hope you take to heart my advice about how to adjust your attitude to improve performance and enjoyment in AH. I really, sincerely do. You'll enjoy playing more, and thus you will be more likely to continue financially supporting my favorite game instead of one day posting a topic like this and riding off into the sunset with your $15 per month.

Nope we had one interaction in the MA, back in 2011. Beta2 map, i think. I was flying my G6 in a random furball, trying to gain some E on a P38 and a Spitty when you came from 20k straight for the pick. You missed the first pass, and were extending to 5k before turning back. You were in a D9, as far as i can remember.

This is a cool story.   :aok

I am amazed at your ability to recall things three years back.  However:

a.) I flew only rarely in the MA in 2011.  That was during my long hiatus in the DA.

b.) I was flying as Hoplite, as I had been since tour 55, for most of 2011.  I changed to Fulcrum in mid-Dec before coming back to flying in the MA full time.  I never killed nor was killed by you in the MA while flying as Hoplite or Fulcrum in 2011.

c.) In January of 2012 (tour 144) it seems I did kill you while flying a Dora.  So I was in error...we have indeed met! You have a remarkable memory...though the details are a little off.....you were in a 262 at the time.

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/newscores/killsinp.php?playername=Fulcrum&selectTour=LWTour144&pindex=44&kname=Debrody

:)

As far as I can tell that's the only time either of us have killed one another....at least in 2011 or 2012 (my lunch time is over so I can't check Pilot stats at this time).

BTW - I guess I should have clarified my prior statement....none of us recall fighting you recently i.e. while a member of The Damned.

In the interest of not derailing yet another thread, I will not reply further to this discussion.

:salute sir.  Hope to see you back online soon.

I gave up being an active player a long time ago because it was so hard to find a one on one fight and practice ACM's so I can understand where Latrobe is coming from.  They gang bang thing got pretty old.  I could maybe take on a fighter on the outside of the pack but if the fight got into a couple turns here comes everybody else drooling for kills.

I think you need to work on your defense.
Picking is the safest way to engage a red albeit it is the most boring.  Avoiding the pick is a whole another skill level but has its rewards.  I do pick and will continue to pick when the situation presents itself.  Lazer, vinkman and rocky are probably the best at it in the game.  Avoid them consistently and you have done something.  Avoid snailman and Delirum anytime and you have really achieved a new level.

No doubt the highest level heart beats comes when engaged in a good one on one or one on two.

 :rofl

LOL. Flying on split-screen with a controller in each hand was hard enough...but trying to work both throttles while fighting myself was murder! :noid

Well Skyyr I guess you might as well come clean also, and admit that you are Eace, Badboy, and Ironman. Fess, Fess...come on out and admit that you're Elvis and you've just been hiding in Australia all these years. People need the King's music now more than ever.  :neener:

(Okay, I admit it...I am ALSO really the player known as "Fugitive".  Like I said, working both throttles simultaneously is really hard! That's why He/I overshot myself in this fight instead of killing I/him, even though I totally didn't see me sneaking up on myself until the last minute.)  :rofl

WOW! I'm starting to get quite the group of ankle humpers here lately..... oh wait! Iantheknight=BoNeZ ??? Well ok, that makes sense now.

As for the film, it shows Im in it for the fight. The smart thing would have been to not roll with you and try to stay behind your 3-9 line. In a pony I should have just blown by and avoided any trouble at all, but wheres the fun in that.
