I tried to wait out the timer because I knew what would happen.  I came back in too soon.

I wasn't in a climb at all.   I was bellied in on the runway with no wings....sliding to a stop....on the centerline.   (I rarely bother landing with my gear down.....unless I am rearming or have part of a wing shot off.)

I think what happened is the AI knew that the parts you lost had deemed the aircraft un-fly able and bailed in response…which sucks.

Yeah I know...which is exactly one of the reasons why I hate the AI here.

This is somewhat how it was explained by someone who's name I forget..but they said when a part of the aircraft is lost and the plane needs it to stay up the AI will bail, which is what I was trying to say.

Mr Flyman discoed yesterday in a 262 when we were both rearming, and it put him back in. It's probably because you took too much damage.

I along with others have been 'bailed' on by our AI counterparts when I had no damage.  Was a fresh plane.
