It boggles the mind that your ahf-files have so few downloads. ^ matrix code right here to any remaining fans of improving their flying.

I DL every film posted on these boards. I dont save them all  :neener: because lets face it some of them arent worth more than a single look. However those like yours and StepSis are keepers for study.

Maybe because its a duel but StepSis films seem to be more aggressive than your YouTube films, but both show how smooth you guys are on the controls. The throttle work on your films nrshida amaze me in that it makes sense why you are doing it but in practice its so hard to do.

Thanks to both of you and the many others who I have learned from through the films you guys post.  :rock

Solid under pressure with an interesting preference for lighter armament or should I say armament complimentary to the airframe.  :rock

I'm wary of aggression because of my competition background which shifted to more technical content and more calmness. I think StepSis has extremely unusual and effective ACM. Highly respected opponent.

"Certainly it hurts, the trick William Fugitive is not minding that it hurts".  :old: There's an element of letting go of consequence to improve your technique. Some people like Trogdor take a longer view than looking at their score (as we know some do). Just try, and if you get murdered there's plenty more planes and you have my telephone number  :rofl

Then it's most definitely worth the effort. We all learn from each other. Optionally.  :salute

Here's a few where I got lucky vs trogdor in matchplay.   We were doing a bunch of la5 vs la5 (I was in la5 mode) and he was popping me pretty good for the most part.  Then we started to mix it up some with me staying in the la5.

Here are four that I got lucky with.

57 and 58 are la5 vs 109k
60 is la5 vs 51d
48 is la5 vs 109g6

Getting into some pretty decent MA fights lately. I feel like I got very lucky in both these considering the Alt advantage. and subsequent near fatal overshoots.

The vink film locks up at 2 seconds in... but we'll let you count it anyway.  :noid :rofl

I bet on that last pass you were, "finally!" while muttering about your aim - which was fine, btw; you barely tapped your trigger so not much went out on the two prior solutions.

Roping someone you didn't quite expect to find on your close climbing six is... fun.  I had been dragging redd around at alt and he called me out for trying to bore him to death so I decided to oblige. As I got him going (spits are fast little suckers) down towards his base, I decided to pull off.  Good thing I decided to check my 6 - he was quick to take advantage of my belly blindness and almost pulled it off.  I got lucky with my aim.  :joystick:

So this ones like 7 minutes long, forgive me if its a little boring but I felt like it was a cool engagement. Video starts after the 200 callout I break back into the g14 in a climbing turn. We had merged co-alt 2-3 minutes earlier however I was slower from my climb out and decided extending him out would be my best chance to equalized and/or gain the advantage. At the point the I decide to reengaged I've built up a considerable energy advantage. I found it impressive how my opponent was able to remain aggressive and threating from a clear defensive position landing a few early hits. He times my attacks well, and is able to pull up into me without losing to much speed as to make himself more vulnerable. at around 1:50 mark I black out trying to set up a high speed deflection shot and luckily only receive a few more tickles from the cowl guns. Eventually I'm able to position myself correctly for a good attack and nail him in the cockpit in a spiraling decent.

I felt like all in all I kinda got lucky, any thoughts?

Long, drawn out engagement with me in a P-40N with 8K feet of altitude. All in all, considering the chaos of the situation, I think I did fairly well as far as defensive BFM and situational awareness (against late war super planes no less). Got credited with a kill or two and knocked out an ack-ack gun.

In the P-40, it's not about high scores, it's about taking a licking and hitting people back when they don't expect you to be able to. If you can stay alive.  :airplane:

Bloody hell mate. And I thought I took a lot of risks when flying.  :rofl

That final shot was epic.  :rock

Was there any post-fight sour grapes? What was Max referring to?
