The crazy thing is, there a people that advocate that they like AH3 as it is now because they believe that; with less numbers and players that have been around for years, "it's harder and more competitive now".
Delusional twits don't even realise that that they've slowly gone through stages of Dunning Kruger effect. :old:
There won't be many out there with a thirst more new techniques... And that's what's really sad.
But the ones who are will no doubt be in the top 25 for score through fighting alone, and not by shameless score chasing

Yes the recent proposition of the-best-of-the-best-of-the-best must surely indicate the decay.  :old:

I really miss the old bi-annual dueling bracket. Good way to get good fights and see who the top dogs were.

I'm not a very competitive person in your sense I just bezz-about doing my own internal thing which certainly isn't dog-centric. I did learn early in AH the tradition of proving you were the 'upper dog' by going to the Duelling Arena though, and not blinging yourself up by exploiting the MA environment, employing the safest, most productive and most reliable ACM method so-far discovered by man and choosing the best equipment the game has to offer, and then claiming you're awesome personally because of that.

Cobblers. I'm a full six hours ahead of you then. That's 2-3 a.m. at my end. Even if I was awake my flight-gear's too noisy as it's attached to a large desk. Have to I finish my new joystick.

Hopefully can catch you and others randomly if you pop on. Been pretty dead for me, graphed yesterday's numbers and in conjunction with Shane's intel a full comeback does not look likely.

Found a massive batch of stored films though, watch this space...

During the week I sometimes hop on between 9am-11am, MA is dead but I'd happily hop in the DA.

This isn't really a dog fight but it was a moment the reminded me of how much fun this game can be when it has enough people to pull off large coordinated efforts like this.

I waited for him for like 20 minutes, seems he had a family party he was attending to. Had some good fights though

Got a new video out for them's that's interested. I put them on YouTube for longevity - I'm sure some see what I mean.

Especially of interest to you Fugitive: please listen to the throttle work. Be bold: "You live a lot more when you die a lot".

Also notice the change of angles to take away the enemy shot.  It works in conjunction with throttle.

Well done

I have the "die a lot" part down pretty good.  :P

I do try to use more throttle work in a tight fight like that, and also try to roll the plane into a position where the enemy has the worst shot I can give him. The issues at this point are getting into a good fight like that, it doesnt happen often. Too many pickers around. Second thing is I need more gun passes to do any real damage.

But I keep at it. Im hoping to retire Jan 1st so I might be able to squeeze out more time to play so Im sure that will help as well.

Great film, thanks for posting!  <S>

I'd appreciate your explanation because I kind of think about ACM in a weird way. Which parts can you see this?
