If you're using if for AH, SKuzzy has posted some stuff here and there about their reliability being possibly degraded due to the large number of small writes and at whatnot associated with the game/drive interfacing with each other.
Your mileage may vary, a number of members have posted that they left AH on their SSD despite this warning, and they'll still -so far- working. I myself had the game on an SSD for over a year prior to hearing about this, so I promptly moved AH to my D spinner drive.
Otherwise, as the previous poster said, I've had them for several years now and no failures or issues. Samsung 830 is my 120 gb drive, and my 240ish one is an 840. There are tons of reputable makers out there now, I wouldn't be all that afraid of one failing. Next build I'm going to get a 500 gb one, or larger, to try running my entire Steam folder onboard, just to see wth happens with that.
As fast as they are, all they really do in my world is let me boot up faster, and load a couple of games a bit more quickly. Really, it's the boot time and the speed the OS operates off the drive is the only difference I see, again, in the world I use PC's in.
