Next on my rounds of places to visit.

Wright Patterson AFB museum

I have been there before and it was sweet.. They have made some improvements and are currently building a 4th hangar.. here are some of the sights i saw there ..

Coon they have parking for oversized vehicles aka larffe campers and buses.. When I was there they had 3 rigs with trailers in the lot. So you can park there AND it free!!!!

Go to the guard shack and politely ask to be taken to the underground hangar under hangar 51 and see what they say.    :noid

The bike is an Orange County build.  It was commissioned by the Air Force Recruiting Service.  A friend, the AFRS operations officer at the time, began doing things like this in the last years of his career.  He also arranged for NASCAR sponsorships and they even sponsored a Monster Truck (Damon Bradshaw - Afterburner).

I am surprised and pleased to see the chopper at Dayton.  It represented a 'leap' in thinking when it was first built.
