Would be nice if some of these sims had lower system requirements... I really want that DCS F-86  :noid

It's not just the graphics that drive up the system reqs.  The flight & physics model does as well.

Impressive....too bad the WWII massive multiplayer sim based on DCS went kaput....tho' I think many people would balk at the full realism settings (i.e. realistic startup, etc).

I LOVE the full realism, because I feel like I'm actually learning something. That being said, it's a pain in the bloody rear sometimes!

Agreed on both counts.

If you think the WWII birds are tough...try ramp starting the Mig21.  Yeeeesh.  ;)

It's great to be just that much closer to realism. I hope we get to see holograms with ultrasound tactile reinforcement one day, but sadly this is where we are.

Better yet the A10C. I still eject on accident several times per session.

Do you use key command? Or click the switches in the cockpit? My GF just got me TrackIR, and boy does that help! DCS is almost impossible without it, at least with the Helicopters I always fly.

The Black Shark is easy mode compared to the Huey. I don't think any of them are real easy especially in simulation mode, but I like it that way. Waiting eagerly for the EDGE update and the K4 to come out of beta and come out on Steam.

If only they had the Hellcat vs the Zeke.  Or the Thunderbolt to blow up trains.  (drool)
AS far as I know we already have a thunderbolt in DCS! But ya know... the better one.  :devil

I got blackshark back in 2009 I believe, and it was awesome. I haven't tried it since 2010 since I lost the CD key for it, but just got UH-1H and Mi-8MTV2. I did the Huey before the Hip... dear god, you speak the truth. After getting used to the Huey and beating the campaign, I just started the Hip last night, and checked 3 times to make sure the realism was turned all the way up because it was so much easier to fly. That Huey is a handful!!!
