Man...LOVE the skin on that bird. 

She deserves a long and restful retirement, awesome bird...I use to love watching them take off and land at Willow Grove NAS here in PA....use to see them flying around where i lived at the time.

You beat me to it.  Great aircraft, so many firsts with it, one of the first truly modern HUD's.  It's cousin the F8 Crusader is my favorite jet fighter, but I've always like the A7 as well.

The A-7's big brother (F-8) was retired several yrs ago best
