TrackIR profile - how to email?
« on: December 28, 2014, 08:45:00 AM »
How would a squaddie email me his T-IR profile? He's not sure where to find it. We both have the Trackir 5 hardware. I originally set mine up using the V4 software. Do I need to install V5 to access his profile?

Thanks :aok

This is where mine is,

C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles

they are XML files with what ever you named your profile.... most seem to call them "AH". I collect them. I have a dozen right now. You can open the file and copy and paste it here as well.

Thanks Fugi!

I have the profile. Once I have my T-IR software reinstalled, how do I point it towards the profile?

If you have the actual file, drop it into your TIR "profiles" folder. then on your TIR set up screen, there should be a dropdown box to select it. If you choose to add it as a text file like a posted in the above mentioned thread you have to make sure the names match.

so make sure the profile you create has the same name as whats in the actual text. should be first lines
