I tried the 200mm, just can't get a good shot. This one is the big lens again, but went with ISO 400 and 1/500th second. Then did minor adjustments in Bridge CS4 Camera Raw.

Nah, I've got a Meade like the one below. It has a computer that can track it's position and let you know what you are looking at, but beyond that it's not really special. I want a nice computer controlled reflector baaaaaaad though.

That's a nice scope. At one point my buddy had a 13" dobsonian with tracking motor but sold it. He is a SERIOUS astronomer, has been president of the Atlanta Astronomy Club a couple of times. I will ask him if it's ok to give you his name, and I'm sure he'd be glad to give you some tips. He's also a fantastic mead brewer.

Silver! I found out what I did to get a really good shot on the first moon pic! As I had said, I took it using a program on my laptop to activate the shutter. I hadn't realized that the program switched the camera to Live View(screen instead of eye piece). This automatically locked the mirror up and greatly reduced the jitter caused when the shutter is activated. I then went out with my 55-200 zoom lens and got some significantly better shots. I sure do wish that I could afford better lenses, because I know it would help, especially the ones with vibration reduction. Maybe one day. Anyway, thanks for getting me started on the path to a revelation!

Not trying to highjack the thread, but I sat in a Gt350 last week at the Ford racing school. The car is even better IRL and to me fixes what I don't like about the front of yours. Exhaust cut out sounds fantastic, brakes like an anchor  . Sadly the mechanic didn't seem to like the 5.2 much, stating every component needs to be balanced so if you plan on upgrading anything it'd tear itself down without rebalancing everything-ish. He said buy yourself a base GT, boost the engine and install front body/suspensions/exhaust/brakes for less than the extra $30K.

I don't know if the 350 has the same brakes as the my GT with the Performance Pack (6 piston Brembos with 15" rotors) but they do stop incredible. What is it that you don't like about the front end? This car is hard to capture in pictures. It looks so much better in person. Hopefully I will get a chance to clay bar and wax mine and I'll set out to take some decent shots of the car. I'm planning on adding a Whipple in the future and upgrading the already upgraded performance pack suspension.

Yep, the suspensions need to go. The boss 302 with custom suspensions is faster around MMP over the new 5.0 school cars with the upgraded suspensions. If I remember correctly they have to use 285s all around in the new GT but not on the Boss.

I don't like the front of the GT, it's too Ford Fusion-ish to start with but it's not muscle car look. 2015 was better, curses the laws of aerodynamics. It's too slick. I don't like the crease in the hood either, it even annoys me from the driver seat. They did fix it with the GT350. I'd have liked the top of the nose clip to extend a hair more and they did that on the 350. I don't like the lower grill closing inward on the 5.0 and the 350 has the fangs going outward removing that lower grill shape. The hood shape is miles better and that side fender scoop is perfect. Anyway man, it's just me ... personal preferences.

Thanks Ranger, the moon is an awesome subject. The more you look at it, the more interesting it is.
