I refuse to spar in this thread with DRED and ACK ACK.
Despite the fact I occasionally give them both a hard time on chat, I actually like and respect them both. 
That Poison guy, on the other hand....well..
Actually my comment wasnt intended as a form of spar.
This whole ranking thing has us pretty amused because had you asked me a week ago to guess our rank I'd have shrugged. And said something like "I dont know. I never really gave it any thought..20th maybe?"
And at that I'd have thought it was pretty good considering we just fly for the fun of it and only occasionally together.
In almost 20 years Ive been doing this between Air Warrior and here Ive both seen and been in squads who play for rank. Squads that ranged from strict to reasonably disciplined as to what they were doing or what kind of squad they were with the aim of achieving a particular rank at or in something. And Ive seen most squads despite all their efforts fail to crack the top ten.
And here we are. Just screwing around and we crack not only the top 10. But the top 5. I really do find that fact considering what we do and what I've been a part of and what I have seen in 20 years, pretty amusing
