I want one of theses... please. :x

In service 1943–45 during WW 2, this heavy tank was designed with thick armor to counter the German 88 mm guns, and carried a main gun that was capable of defeating the German Tiger and Panther tanks.

And the Hs-129 with MK101\103 and BK7.5 which could kill it.

IS-2 had a very low rate of fire, something like 4 per minute because of two piece ammo, but Im sure it packed a wallop :) +1

+1 on the Pershing, Ive wished for this one before too, one of my favorite tanks. Just got Hunnicutt's Pershing book too :D <S>

OK then the Hs-129 with only the MK101\103. It killed that tank by firing from sub 100. Just have to get an IL2 jocky to distract you in commander mode while I sneak up from behind in the grass.

Actually, I think many would be dissapointed with the IS- series of tanks. Think of a hulk moving the speed of the firefly, a gun equivent to the firefly, with the reload no faster than the King Tiger.  Optics would be sub par as well.

Be careful what you wish for.

the late version, D-25T variant had really good penetration, the early IS2 did not, and even slower reload time.
