Better to err on caution's side.

<S>

family stuff?  would love to hear about family fun on blizzard days.

Nine months after such events, there is a sudden rise in population numbers in the effected areas.

Already made first plow run. It's windy, 12" in some spots, 0 in others.

It's dry, dense snow, small flakes.

11 F on the thermometer with about 20-30 mph wind. Don't know the wind chill or "real feel" temp.

Work closed! Yee ha!

I went to school in Rochester New York.  This storm looks like a *dusting* to me based on experience.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

About two feet or more on the ground north of Boston.  The snow is pretty dry so few power outages.

We have about 2 feet here, the drifts are over 4 feet in some places, and it's still snowing. I have the day off from work, but that means I get to spend the days shoveling. Wish me luck!  :rolleyes:

We got about 18" of snow according to local news TV. Hard to tell as it was very windy. Some areas had 4 foot drifts, other areas were nearly bare. Less than the predicted 20 to 30 inches. We've had much worse storms. This was no more than the typical winter noreaster we get almost every year since I can remember. The hype was way over the top....

The beginning...

The end...

Past snow storms...
