For whatever reason I was doing a bit of reading on the K4, and two different sources stated that the k4 was armed with 2 mg151's (15mm cannon), and one mark 108 cannon. In aces high the k4 is armed with 2 mg131's( 13mm mg's), and one Mark 108 cannon. Does anyone have any other input pertaining to this subject?

The 15mm cannon was used to fire through the hub on some F series 109s. It was replaced by the 20mm.

They never mounted cannon where the machine guns are located on the nose. The 2 identical pages are likely typos for the 13mm MG.

One of your references is for 15mm gondolas for the K4. Our K4 doesn't have gondolas.

There was plans to fit a modified MK103, the MK103M, to the K-4. There was problems with this modified weapon, so it didn't happen.

The MG151 and MK103 originated with William Green in his 'great fighter' books from the '50s who probably misread some German document. The 8 and 3 depending on how legible the document is can be read as a 3 and 5. 

To fit the MG151, major modifications to the 109 would be required.

Another common misinterpretation is that MK stands for "mark" which is doesn't. It's an abbreviation for Maschinenkanone. MG is for Maschinengewehr.

MG151\20 <---"Motor MG" as titled in 109 manuals. Also Motor kanone for either MG or MK when referred to in general terms. An auto cannon mounted into the Panzerrohren in an inline engine in german reference manuals.

Panzerrohren - the hollow tube extending through the DB60x and Jumo 213 that the Motor kanone fires through. Initially with the DB601 they came in two diameters, 50mm and 60mm. 50mm for MGFF and then MG151\15. 60mm was standardized by the DB605, and a requirement for the MG151\20 barrel to allow room for the Stützstern, or centering washer to fit and hold the barrel centered in the tube. The MK108 having a very short barrel, had a Motorlafette mount unit that was bolted to the back of the Panzerrohern centering the barrel to the tube.
