The 479th "Riddle's Raiders" FG started up in 1996 in AW and lasted in AH until I officially retired the squadron in 2013.

I remember tracking down Kyle Riddle back then and speaking to him about the cartoon 479th.  Can't remember if it was Reemo or Noamo (am I remembering that right) spoke to him as well when I passed on his number.  Good times back then

125th Spartan Warriors formed up Feb. of 2008 and are still kicking around.  Most came over from what used to be the "LTAR's" which formed up around 2001.

Well here's the latest, and I am only including squads that are still active and are at least 10 years old.   Still wondering about AKUAG, the LTARs, the Elite, Widowmakers, and 4th FG.   Are they still active, do they have websites, etc...

Sorry to those I missed earlier!

I joined JG44 Nighthawks in 2003 but they were alive and well before that I remember Doobs (i think) saying they were formed around the time the FB$ were. the name changed to JV44 Butcher Birds around 07 when jeb left. so I know its late 90s early 2000s. Last i knew the squad was up but very low numbers anyone wanna key in on that with more info on JG/JV44s age.

In about 2008 I joined the 81st Krewsaders the squadron which started in 2000. Most members of which have left the game entirely. Some members I see sometimes are Army81st, Frod and Limbo0. DEMAN was the first CO of the squad with Swillie, Zulu, TTiger81, Earshot, and Swoops to be other commanding officers of which after Swillie left. I managed to save these really old images from a website that is now gone. But I still have them all the same. I just thought this squadron was worthy of mention because it literally had the whole map trying to kill its force of some 15-70 bomber pilots and escorts every titanic Tuesday when Swoops was running it. The squadron officially disbanded in about 2012, the 777th Heavens Demons being its successor leaded by Swoops. At its height it had some 80-90 people in it with another squad ran by Limbo0 and Greens being its sister squad consisting of mostly fighters and escorts. I greatly miss this squad but I am glad other squadrons took the moment to follow in its foot steps and lead other massive bomber raids across the map and to continue sporting in friendly, fun, and just awesome game time of a community squadron.  :salute

I remember the Krewsaderz!  Sorry to hear about their disbanding.  The 777th still has a website but looks like it hasn't been updated since 2010.

JV44 doesn't appear to have a website, Frod - I searched for your squad with AHs squad search tool and neither Frod nor Gray turned up a match....

Pig Stompers...we are barely alive in these times only in the wwi arena.  Pre 1998, I joined then and they were in existence at that time.  Mano has a better history.

Yeah there's a couple 777th websites I had up, the ones still up are the ones I keep for those sentimental purposes. The 777th Heavens Demons disbanded before 2013 only being around for about 2 years. The result of which was Swoops having to leave to do his job as a commercial pilot and leadership chain not kicking in like it should have.

I resigned from the 81st before it disbanded.  Took some time off to raise grandsons.  I still log on from time to time just to see if I dreamed this...

The Birds of Prey came from Air Warrior.  Was started in the '90s, but not sure of the exact year.
