There should be more pistol kill achievements, here are some Ideas:

Bow to your new Emperor: kill a Japanese Plane with a pistol (hidden)

Het (sounds like nyet) Comrade: Kill a German GV with a pistol (hidden)

Goon Hunter: Kill a C-47 with a pistol (hidden)

Deer Hunter: Kill a pilot with a pistol (hidden)

Man... Most Dangerous Game: Kill 10 Pilots with a pistol (hidden)

Fratricidal Maniac I-V: Kil 10, 50, 100, 1000, 2500 Troops with a Pistol

Can you post those stats for fighters?

My kills were from proxies really, but I have shot enemies on the back of the runway which is pretty fun.

I used to sit at a HQ I downed with the pistol and challenge the bailing C47s resupplying it to a duel.

Quite a few takers.

The new rearm buildings don't sheild you from ack like the old ones.

I have an old AH2 film of RockyDog killing a plane with his .45. It was pretty sweet shot too! He had bailed out and the enemy plane was turning to me and I hear"Take this, @#$head!". Holly CRAP! Did you see that!!! I @#$@ing got him with my pistol!".    Heck yeah I saw it! I got that on film!!!  :x

Or stab a 163 and then be liquified by the fuel.
