I put them in the same category as LA, Spits, and N1ks. That's just me, it's all about it's attributes which make it the best BnZ plane in the game.
The main differences between the F4U and those are:
- Much less power translating into a significant disadvantage in acceleration and sustained climb rate. Much more than any of those you gotta have to watch your E.
- The main asset of the F4U, the flaps, need pilot experience. It's too easy to 'overdeploy' them and waste your E. Then your lack of acceleration can make you an easy prey.
It's all fine as long as you got the steam, but for Jon Doe it's easy to lose it and difficult to regain.
