we haven't actually flown in LAN yet but AH is all set up... his Cyborg X is mapped...I can choose to host a LAN game, so I have no doubt that it will work, the version Phoenix posted is the same...

Did a couple hours flying in LAN with the son...had a great time.... :rock

down loaded some offline missions...he is a quick learner :D

Dang INK you sound human. Don't worry, even my piggies make me act like one of the guys from time to time. It's good seeing you excited about something in the game besides how big yours is versus someone else's. I bet you are fun to buy a beer for on Saturday nights....... :lol

Which missions did you try? And did you try flying those on the LAN with him?

couldn't get them to work through LAN play.... game just crashed....so far we have only tried the 51vs51

going to download the rest today I think they will be great help in getting him up to speed.

OK ran into an issue....the terrains for the missions don't seem to be included with them...so all I have for this version is NDisles...

not sure how I can get the terrains.....

any one have a clue?

downloaded those terrains...thanx again....although the one for LAN play that the offline mission works with...Solomon terrain is not included in those... :(

although I see Pacmix may also work in LAN with all that join...not sure hat terrain that one uses...hopefully it is one of those...ether way I really appreciate the links  :salute

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Ink! I wrote that mission specifically for use with my grandsons, and it's very satisfying knowing that you are able to use it in a similar fashion. All four of my grandsons have become quite good at Aces High, and will soon be pestering their dads for subscriptions, I hope.... 

Most of my missions are historically based, but all of the ones with "Mix" in the name (PacMix, EuroMix, DesertMix, RabaulMix, etc.) are not. Those are designed with training in mind, allowing choice of a wide variety of (non-historic) plane choices on both sides.
