Reduce EW and MW Max. Player Count

The Late War seems to be the attention grabber for most players nowadays, though its highest peak of players was approx 350 at one point. From what others have told, the old AH used to be able to go to 500-600 people in the LW. So what is the point of having a 500-600 player count in the two former arenas when numbers are either in the single digits and the tens? Even if AH3 were to be released, everyone would still go to the LW, considering ALL planes and gvs are useable there, even if perked.

It might work for the LW arena to reach nearly 450-600 players, but to me, the EW and MW don't even have a shed of light reaching those numbers for years to come. Even if the LW were to be closed for even a day, I doubt the two arenas will ever break their seriously low numbers now or ever.

How exactly would you expect lowering the theoretical maximum of EW & MW to improve or even just affect AH?

 I'm sure if there were more peeps in EA or MA it might draw more but I don't see what lowering the max will do

back in those glory days you speak of midwar hovered around 150 peak hours and EW in the 60-80s IIRC.

I miss the days when I could go into the AVA at 4pm EST and play til midnight and not run out of people to shoot at!
the arena's don't need any changes in max player counts, they need an influx of new players! so go out and get your friends hooked! everyone is an ambassador for aces high, bring in new players!

We had a thread a couple of years back were it was suggested that each tour week should be in each arena but high performance plane people could not deal with that.  The tread was filled with "Don't tell me what to fly . . ." posts.
