heat
« on: July 24, 2015, 11:16:07 PM »
as i flew around tonight for about 20 mins checking on my gun sight i left my hardware monitor on with  default graphics enabled. my 980 ti video card hit 80 degrees c or 177.8 degrees f. this is approaching the max heat range of most graphic cards. my card has a safety but i sure hope the final release of AH 3  addresses some of this. i would like to see what other video cards temps are. i use this program it is free and does not require installation.  http://openhardwaremonitor.org/     i have as i said default graphics set  106 fov at 1024 res.

It looks like your GPU fan was only running 43% at 81 oC. Is there a way to change the settings so fan will run faster? Might help a little.

yes i just installed msi afterburner and it helps a lot when you set up a gpu fan profile. just did the same flight again as i did earlier and the results are noticeable.
