Internal Tower Graphic - 106 Degee FOV
« on: July 24, 2015, 08:36:30 PM »
I set my FOV to what I preferred in older version which is 106.

I run dead minimum graphics and when FOV is 106 and not default 80 I get this.

Attachment contains (2) screenshots.

I'd like to see a DXDIAG output of your computer.

I forgot about the DxDiag since I attached it in other threads  :bhead

I'm going to put a link for my DxDiag in my signature until testing is over.

While the video card has the bare minimum 512MB of video RAM, it is not going to run the Alpha very well at all simply due to the really low end GPU.

It has less than half the performance of our baseline video card (NVidia 9800GTX).

To even have a chance of running the Alpha, you need to turn down the Maximum Texture Size to around 512 and check all the "Disable" options in the "Graphic Detail" panel, along with setting the environment mapping slider to "None".

Also return the field of view back to 80 to reduce the amount of work the video has to do.  Might even consider running at a lower resolution (1280x720).

We need to take a long tour of objects and find more.

The missing tower is simply an LOD culling issue with AH. We have it fixed for the next patch.
