Dissappearing Flags

Try as I might I cannot locate these two dropped flags in the arena.

I found that I have to get close then zoom map in then get close again then zoom map again and so on zooming in several times.  Each zoom seems to make the flag move.

From zoom-out the actual position of the flag is the center of the large icon

At zoom-in it is where the map touches the very bottom of the flag.

It may be better to remove the pennant-staff and have actual position be the center of the triangle?
