Staged mission success
« on: July 29, 2015, 01:13:41 AM »
I made a Battle of Britain mission with the new system and a converted terrain and though I have only flown it once offline, it seems to work well so far.

One minor thing is that there still seems to be some waving grass showing through the briefing room floor.

Please zip up the terrain and missions source files and send it to me or attach it to a post.

I'll do a full build and put it on the host.

  I say we name it something cool in Elsie's honor   Bruv must be about ready for diapers himself.  Arrival of beautiful baby daughter and BOB mission from Jimson (deserving of high praise and admiration for his Custom Missions) about to get hosted in Alpha..... :x  Better have some oxygen ready, just in case ....

:salute HiTech.  I have saved somewhere the post where you stated your commitment to continuing development of features that were supposed to come with "Combat Tour" that was shelved in order to fast track productivity.  I have in the past compared that to what HTC has delivered and indeed could mark off every important feature to some degree.  :aok  While attempting to be seriously dedicated to testing Alpha, I cannot help but enjoy the fact that it all has been worth the wait and beyond my imagining.

Again, I have to throw down the gauntlet and live up to my own words, and purchase a year's subscription as soon as I am able (next 2 months).  A more personal thank you would be in the shape of some Speyburn Single Malt, but that will have to wait until I can make my way to Texas to make the delivery.

I saw what you mean about the grass and bushes through the floor during the briefing.  It does not happen all the time though and on some of the missions I have made, it never seems to happen.  I will try to get a screen shot next time it happens.

I'm not able to get the terrain down to a size I can attach here or email. Have to look into another way to send it.
