Boat trip

My wife and I just finished a 3 week trip in Kenai Fjords National Park on our Pacific Seacraft 37 sailboat.  It was nice to get away from people for a while….



Humpback



Black bear…she had two cubs with her.  Got a bit testy when we first anchored.

ghi, the Phantom is alive and well….just haven't edited any video yet from the trip.

Curval, No generator (other than the 150amp alternator on the inboard diesel).  I have 6 Group 31 AGM batteries as my house bank and a wind generator to help with the charging.

No problem.  Elnora was my mother's name.  She passed away in '95, was a free spirited sort of person…sailor at heart I think.

My uncle had a 1920s double mast schooner that we use to sail on out of Newburyport MA. Loved that boat. Her name fit her as well    She was the "Satin Doll"
