<S> Attacker's of TG-74
« on: August 08, 2015, 12:17:43 AM »
Man, had a blast tonight!  We managed to get in there and get er done!  LTG's tied em well, allowing AK's and CJ's to get in there and break stuff. :joystick: :x

I thought they were kidding bout me leading, should've known better. lol  Pop into FSO a little early, "So Vol, you ready to lead this gaggle?". :uhoh  Well, good thing I decided to pop in early. :)  Was a basic plan, just wish work wasn't hell today.  Hot, hot, hot...with a side of hot and a touch of hot.  Was pretty beat when FSO started, but that quickly changed.  Fortunately LTG, AK and my fellow CJ's backed me up and we saw this through. :aok :salute

AK's, thank you for letting me wing with ya for that 2nd go. :salute  Was mighty lonely after CJ's were down. :noid  That fight over the field was intense though. :x  I was sticking with WxMan while he greased one, ended up having a few on me.  Just barely dodged them and escape....only to hit a friggin hill trying to see what was off of Dust's 4 o'clock when we were getting the hell outta dodge. :(  I really thought I hit SHIFT X, but obviously not. :bhead

Man, all that, only to hit a mountain... :bhead  Well, I did ask preferences; should've made sure I had mine in order as well. :rofl

Thanks again guys. :salute

Great job on the attack. I probably should have had my guys follow you guys out of there, but we stayed to finish off the last of the fighters we were engaged with... and got bounced by another 6 well flown FM2s. I was lucky to escape with a complete plane, my squaddies didn't even escape.

So it was the AK's the CJ's and the LTG's in that attack? That was well-played. You boys wiped out 2 squads of Hellcats (367th and JG 2) and sank the CV. We had a lot of fun fighting it out on the deck and getting just a smidge of payback.  :D

Was us lumbering along in the FM2s Devil.  Felt like we couldn't catch anybody all day lol.  :)
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

We had the other squadron of FM2's near 74 and our guys accounted for most of the kills against Lachender Teufelskopf Gruppe.  Tore up the Claim Jumpers too.  :D Didn't save the boat though, and spent the rest of the night trying to catch strays.

Good times at 74!   :rock

Nice to have you join us Volron.  The first attack took out a lot of pilots on both sides... but we got the CV.  We rearmed and headed in for a secondary attack and were able to take out every single remaining ship.  Nice work!  Here's a screenie of me trying to shoot down an F6F before he shot down my squadmate.  Fortunately, Indrid survived the attack.  I'm kind of sad I died so early in the frame.  It's gonna be a long week... waiting for next Friday.    :salute
