Hello,

Yesterday, 8-20-15. Lee Baker AKA Wasp3. Lost his battle with pneumonia.
A member of the LCA for over ten years. He was the driving spirit of our
Squadron. He was a Leader. A Pilot. And our Friend.
He will be Deeply Missed.

I flew with Wasp from the early days of the LCA. I've been in and out of AH several times and the first person I looked for when I returned a week ago was good old Wasp3. I learned he was ill and Flight for Life had transported him to a hospital in my town. I was fortunate enough to meet him and some of his family at the hospital before he took a turn for the worse and passed. His family told me he considered AH and especially the LCA as his "other" family. He will be sorely missed.

RIP old friend <S>

Thank you for sharing Snork.  It is wonderful to know that out of such a sorrowful event, a true story emerges, telling how our little community / family, is populated by folks who care, share and are indeed motivational to others in their time of need.

Im really crushed by this, especially since I just returned to the game and didnt know anything was wrong with him. Years ago I hung out with LCA a lot, with Wasp a lot. Im sorry but 30 new players wont equal one Wasp3. A 100 wont.

We lost a hell of a man. Please tell me when the honor flight is.

I remember times when he'd pop on over to the CJ channel now and again.  Always a pleasure. :salute
