And what is it that causes us to make that choice?

Is it a feeeeeeling?  :D

 :rofl

well in that sense everything we feel is from "feelings"... :neener:

except it is my intelligence.... that allows me....to not be insulted by what people say.

But there is a reason you aren't constantly deciding if you were insulted or not. Feelings are a signal for our attention. Feeling insulted is the signal to examine the circumstances and make the choice of how to take it. Without the unintentional emotional reaction there is no chain that leads to you making a choice.

There has never been a problem with reasonable discussion. They are sort of the point of the BB.

I am more of a live and let live type of guy...I truly don't think about things that most people do...

my thoughts 90% are on the creator...
I made a choice a long time ago not to care what people think or say about me..or to care what someone does or says period...up until there ACTIONS effect me....

that was a choice...based on experience....not feelings.

your feelings will bring you down a bad road...they will deceive you....

in my mind this world is too damn concerned with being "politically correct"...about "offending" someone....and worrying about what others do in their life and say...

to the OT

all I am saying is Hitech...in my mind..... should have known... I was not insulting him...I have always been straight forward on these boards...

Can we all move on before someone gets whacked with a hammer?  :cry

no reason for that :o I would hope not

FLS and I are actually having a stimulating conversation...without it turning to insults :uhoh and mayhem...  :bolt:

"It's a fighter pilot game. Bring your ego just don't let it drive."

 :t

ego = feelings

not letting it drive = Intellegence

drops the mic...as my 12 year old would say.
