Should the front turret have an AA gun on top? Seems like it would block the mid turret from firing forward.

Incredible how fast you got so much of it done. It already looks fantastic even without the textures.
It was in progress on the modelling side before I started on turrets, gun directors, ect...

The amount of detail you put into that is crazy cool.
Easy in-game again.

Looks beautiful, cant wait to see it sailing the seas.

I highly doubt it will be playable. We would still need destroyers and the likes long before we need people running around in monsters like these. But..time tells all things.  :salute

Will it just use the current system? Like the fleet commander decides where the fleet goes, and people can just individually man the turrets?

The battleship could simply be added to the existing CV group and used in addition to the cruiser. Or maybe it could be made the flagship of a new BB group with some extra fire power, AA defence and toughness to compensate for the lack of air power. I can't see it being employed independently like a PT boat though. From the POV of realism I'd prefer it if one player sat in a gunnery director and fired the whole primary armament but that seems unlikely.

It would be very cool to have a non-CV group as a separate fleet.

Should be player spawned/controlled with a minimal number of players joined to it to keep it in the fight..

One of the better features of the new version is that there is a village texture built into the terrain set. On CraterMA I have used it to make little villages in the middle of farmland and across spawn routes as well as for fishing villages in coastal bays and for urban sprawl around factories and cities. It helps break up the "endless wilderness with occasional little square object groups" the current version suffers from.

drawing rivets on a ship is a very time consuming task......  :t
