Do not know if there is a 1 to 1 correlation in the following observation about an AMD service.
I recently updated my AMD drivers and forgot to disable the AMD External Events service. I upped offline at V2 to test clouds. With post lighting enabled there was an obvious white screen flash about every 2-3 minutes. When I tried to exit the game it hung. I used task manager and discovered the AMD service was enabled visa it's executable. I disabled that service and tried to duplicate the issue with no success after several instances of exiting the game and testing post lighting on\off.
Clouds can now be watched moving across your wind screen while sitting on the runway at V2. About 1Mil a second. Until you get about 1 mile from them, there is an obvious wiggle and wobble every few seconds due to the redraw for location travel changes. Post lighting on inside the clouds is 22-27 FPS. Post lighting off, 27-40. Not sure how much more tweeking will take place with clouds and their impact on FPS with Mid range to Low range video cards.
First time entering the CV bridge seems for me to always have the faces of the compass, instruments, and portholes for the secondary bridge a neon blue illuminated effect. After I launch an aircraft or sit in a gun, the faces are normal and port holes black when I return to the bridge. Looking straight up on the bridge my head still pokes through the roof and there are still hit sprites coming up over the bow.
It could be my imagination, in offline testing the Ju87 G2 BK 3.7 carbide core round from sub 100, one shot destroys a T34\76 into the area under the track fender. This is consistent with action reports for the 30mm and 37mm German carbide core rounds against Russian tanks. I made 10 passes on a T34 to test it. I'll wait to confirm this until later in the beta since nothing is set in stone at this time.
