Pocket Pistol
« on: October 12, 2015, 11:34:13 PM »
Just purchased a glock 43 and installed a pair of night sights with a ghost 3.5 connector. If anyone is in the market i would highly recommend a 43. Shot a couple bowling pin matches and also a large boar with it while i was bow hunting this weekend. I own 4 glocks and this one might be my favorite. Fits in my sunglasses case in the truck and i can also just drop it in my pocket.

You must have big pockets.  :)

Glocks are really reliable and good shooting guns, if they were DA/SA with a decocker I'd be all over them.

Reminds me of my 27 in .40.

One night my pouch slipped off the back of a truck. One was in the chamber and the only sound was the impact clunck against the ground. Yeah decocking would be nice, you just learn to clear the round after ejecting the magazine. Or don't rack the slide. Fortunately I no longer have to carry anything.

Well, Google just defeats the purpose of seeing their own weapon as is, now doesn't it?

I had a bersa for a long time and ended up giving it away. On that model you could change out the front sights. Very interesting pistol I like that it has a light rail and also a full grip.

Bersas are underrated, I think because they're inexpensive people tend to turn their nose up at them. But they are great guns, especially their 380s, the bersa thunder plus is the best on the market in my opinion.

Have you guys seen this? Basically it says what we've always known deep down inside. Shootability and shot placement is way more important than caliber.

I';ll pass on the Bersa Thunder. Trigger pull is a mile away from firing pin release. It's the reason I sold my Taurus .40 cal PT100.

Besides, Bersa is a direct knock off of the Walther. I'll take the original, without the long trigger pull.
