Welcome to the Trainers!

Wait until you get a young player log into the TA and say, "Hey. I ned to learn to doggfit. Show me but i have to log in 10 minutes."  This kind of statement wears you down eventually.

Lead for shooting, lag for position. Problem solved. Next.  :neener:

I watch vudu vids when I'm traveling for work, like this week.

Keep it up Vudu, I think they are great!

Do any of the ah trainers have training videos? If so, where are they? It would be good to have them "approved" and all put into one folder on the ah site. Not just ah videos, but training videos.

We're working on the trainer's web page and plan on training videos. It's better to learn from a trainer because you get performance feedback and specific relevant advice but we realize some players prefer to learn on their own.

Wow, there's a blast from the past! Thanks Vudak it's good to see you're still around.  :)

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.  :salute

For those that don't know me, and as Vudak eluded to, I've been around AH for a while and actually started in Air Warrior back in the '90's. I moved to AH in 2001 tour 23 iirc. I don't fly the main arenas much anymore. I get my enjoyment from FSO, scenarios, and helping people improve their fighter skills. I'm constantly learning something in this game, and would like to pass that knowledge on.

I would also like to say that anyone that is willing to spend the time helping people improve, and maintain interest in AH is a welcome addition to the community. Be it an official AH trainer, or a player that is willing to helpfully answer someones questions.

I applaud anyone who is sincerely willing to put time and effort into training, or helping in the background with webpages and videos.

It is easy to sit back and play the game, criticize and complain about coding and visuals, performance of aircraft and tanks, and ground guns, etcetera, but it really does take some guts and fortitude to step up to the plate and help the game improve by giving your own time, free of charge, and perhaps learning that this game is extemely complex.

I welcome our new Trainers, and you should too, because both of them are highly skilled.

Once upon a time there was this game where you could lose yourself into the fantasy of flight...and combat...and it was called...Aces High!

Thanks Joe.
There are so many people that helped me along the way that I don't want to start naming them for fear of forgetting someone.  :headscratch:
And yes, I guess we are that old. Between AW, and AH I've spent almost twenty years flying cartoon planes with, and against real people.   :O
