Monday Night Mid-War Madness 8-10PM Eastern U.S. 04JAN16
« on: January 02, 2016, 05:14:26 PM »

  No La7s, K4s, Yak3s or jets allowed!

I'm told the "ALL" channel for text is active as opposed to "200" so we can all use that
for cross country banter.
I'll be in there around 7:30 Eastern or so to assess the map and find us a good
fighting area. Last week, I had to turn a fleet away as it would have spoiled the fun
in short order.
Shuffler mentioned that In Mid-War the Knights usually tune vox 150 and the Rooks 135
so we'll run with that.
Hopefully, nobody will be flying Bishop that night, Rooks vs Knights will ensure
we don't get our numbers watered-down.
Let's make this, the third week of "Mid-War Madness" another fun one!

Nice poster Odd!

Be at M3 or be square2!

How about a bigger time window to include more of our left-coast pilots? How about 7-12 PM eastern?

Generally ends when it ends. May still be going at that time.

The first two weeks have been great fun and solid fights. Most very low. Ceiling is 15K but most 5K down to the deck.

I'm just the cheerleader; trying to keep the momentum going.
As for times, absolutely, spread it out further. I can tell you that things
began to die out last week about 10PM Eastern, however.
I myself plan on being in there about 7:30 - 7:45, and will run a small
mission with some bombers for bait to give the Knight scoundrels a taste of
blood.
  Maybe a D3A attack....hmmmm....

I showed up a bit late and still had a blast.  In the middle of the furball Molsman reminded me "oh, yeah, the 410 has rear guns!" as his tracers whizzed by! ;)

Fun stuff.  Thanks for organizing.  I'll be back next week!

A grand time was had by all, methinks! Tonight was the third week of Hell Buck's magnificent
idea for "Monday Night Midwar Madness" and it was every bit as much fun as the first two weeks.
The action was intense and non-stop for almost a full three hours, and in the main, most
engagements were occuring at 4K or less alt.
It was some of the nastiest and most senory-overloading furball action I've seen in years.
Things petered-out at about 10:30 Eastern or so and at about 11:00 Eastern myself and
a few other squaddies hit the Late War Arena. In all sincerity, that arena was a fun-sucking
hole of most guys sitting in GVs gettin' spawn camped or doing the camping, and a couple
of Bishops playing "hide in the ack". Not a good fight to be had anywhere.
I'll be spending the rest of the week countin' down the days 'til next Monday!

Regards, Odd

great time last night and it was very civilized. almost to the point of sappy hehehehe.

What a blast!

Short trips to great fights, and overlapping DAR to find them.  Got to fly planes that wouldn't be very <cough> competitive in the MA.
Thanks to HellBuck and Odd for making it happen.

I didn't have enough parts to even turn. All I could do was rock back and forth and wait for it. My rear gun was even out. LOL ping ping ping ping..... Ok when is this going to end. Great stuff.

Great fights!

It was awesome to see nobody running from fights and non-stop action!

The evenly matched plane set is what makes it.

Lazer and Shuffler stole the show with pant loads of kills!
