Japan's new stealth fighter?

What's the initial thoughts on Japan's new stealth fighter?  I thought it looked very unstealthy.  Perhaps it is only meant to be stealthy from the front aspect?  Quite stubby wings too.

Why would it be a joke?  Japan is undoubtedly one of the few countries we know have the materials knowledge to build such aircraft.

I understand Godzilla is rather near sighted so it does not need to be that stealthy.  Makes sense
