Always wondered why perks instead of a token system. At some point when you shoot down, bomb, GV main gun enough enemies and land those kills, you get a menu showing what your tokens can buy.

This IS ONLY AN Example:

Your earned Tokens can now purchase one of the following offerings.
1 - 262
2 - Tempests
1 - B29
1 - 24,000lb bomb
2 - F4U-1C
2 - F4U-4
1 - Me163
1 - Panther G
1 - full fuel 150 octane - can be used in 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% at a time.
1 - 30gal slipper tank 150oct
1 - 75gal tank 150oct
1 - Bf109 G6 MK108 motor kannon
1 - BF109 G6 M108 gondola
2 - 24 R4M rockets
2 - MK101
2 - MK103
1 - Twin MK151\20 pod
2 - PTAB 48 cassette
1 - 1000rds MK101\MK103
1 - Flakvisier 40 AAA active lead computing gunsight
1 - NAVY MK14 AAA active lead computing gunsight
1 - K14 active lead computing gunsight

This is kept in an inventory you can pull up as your current earned options along with your current tokens to spend. Fuel and ordinance is used and then gone. Aircraft and vehicles are kept until they get destroyed. The lead computing gunsights would disappear that way. The K14 won't work in our furballs because the G loads would keep the reticle off the edges of the reflector plate. Pickers and HOers would become near perfect shots. But, these are just Examples.......

1. Perk drones so they are not treated as expendable bomb trucks.

2. Perk bombs of 1000 lbs or more.

A very light perk tag is sufficient. Both of the above will not prevent any player from flying their plane or engaging in any activity.

3. Perk the damn Wirbles. They were extremely rare in the war and had magazines that needed reloading.

Implicate a stand down time for the guns? To replicate reloading time?

Then I will have to update the current AH3 osti\wirbel reticles with wingspan to range markers along with the range to trajectory marks. The current Flakvisier 35 gunsight in both Flakpanzer had a range person who input visa analog dials range and est. speed which caused the reticle to respond accordingly. With the icon as it is currently displayed, I only had to add the bullet drop range markers. Hitech could have been naughty with the osti and included the direct fire telescope tube with it's proper reticle or I could duplicate that also.

It would be cool to select from the two wirble firing modes:

two guns at a time for continuous firing to simulate two guns being reloaded while the other two are firing.

Four guns at a time but with several second long pauses to simulate all guns being reloaded at once.

I was thinking, gathering perks as a veteren player is pretty easy. I have over 7K after flying for 2 years in fighters.

I too have a ton of perks but I play a lot.  Could the answer be to have perks exclusive to the tour that they were acquired?  That is to say we all start out at zero perks at the start of a new tour.
